- WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE PLN IN SOCIAL MEDIA SHARING THAT UNDERSTANDS WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM WITH MESSAGING THAT IMPACTS THE COMMUNITY?
Having a diverse and inclusive PLN may generate benefits for our audience and ourselves. A diverse PLN will attract other people with similar ideas, which will provide the media with variety views, thoughts, and concepts. By putting all kind of diverse PLN together, it will also result in a better way of understanding the big picture. An inclusive will bring attention to the people who are in the similar field, profession, or even people who are interested in the topic. This kind of PLN will increase the professionalization of communication, it is also a platform for us to learn more, and may even have the opportunity to work with the people who’s on it.
- CONSIDER THE AUDIENCES AND HOW WE ADAPT OUR MESSAGING ACCORDINGLY.
There are all kind of people in the world, yet to find our best audiences we need to considerate a lot of aspects. People can be differentiating by age, gender, belief, race, occupation, preference, etc.… any one of the aspects could change an individual’s perspective. Thus, when we are sharing messages, we need to pick the best interest audiences to share. Trying to bring up a discussible opinion may draw more attention to the message we are sharing.
- RESEARCH OUR GUEST AND SEE HOW THEY LEVERAGED THEIR NETWORK INTO A CAMPAIGN. REFLECT IN YOUR BLOG OF THIS EFFORT.
Markiel Simpson has a great way of managing his PLN. It is diverse and inclusive; he like to engage in political and social issues, and he is willing to listen voices from everyone. Simpson is dedicated participate in racism issues, by sharing his idea on social media and appeal the society to against discrimination of colored people. With his passion and personality, he has created a great PLN and network for people who need help, and generating opportunities to this society.

Hey Andrew,
I appreciate your blog post for this week. I like how you brought attention to the benefits of how PLN’s lead to the formation of communities and connections that are enabled by people creating unique and diverse PLN’s. It is true that diversity can promote both collectivism and individualism in the community. Furthermore, I agree with you about how people should bring discussable content to their platforms in order to create more traffic and the space for discussion.
